6, Jonathan Haines married Sarah Moulton before 1687.

Reference: "Vital Records of Haverhill, Massachusetts: Vol. 2," at p. 41
2, providing that Jonathan Haines, who was born in England in 1616 was kil
led by Indians near Lowell Avenue on February 22, 1697-98. [Note: Pa
rt of this entry must be incorrect as it was Jonathan's father, William Ha
ines, who immigrated from England. In addition, William was said to ha
ve come with the Page family in 1637, not 1633, as a servant [see "The N
ew England Ancestry of Dana Converse Backus," Author: Mary E. N. Backu
s, at p. 112]. Finally, Jonathan Haines was not born until 1648 in Hampto
    n, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.]

See also "The New England Ancestry of Dana Converse Backus," Author: Ma
ry E. N. Backus, at p. 112 providing for the following marriages: Willi
am Moulton to Margaret Page; Sarah Moulton to Jonathan Haynes; Elizabeth H
aynes to Isaac Spalding; Rachel Spalding to Simon Shepard; and Polly Shepa
rd to Stephen Backus. This source also goes on to provide that William Mo
ulton was listed as a servant on the ship's manifest when he came to New E
ngland from Ormesby, Norfolk, England, with the family of Robert Page in 1
    637. William was believed to be 20 years of age at the time he immigrate
    d. Since two ships, the "Rose" and the "John and Dorothy," which came fr
om Ipswich, England, to Boston, arrived on the same day, the passenger lis
ts were not kept separate, so it is impossible to determine which ship t
he Page family and William Moulton came on. Other families that came fr
om Ormesby at the same time include John and Thomas Moulton, but the
re is no relationship specified in these records to William Moulton. Acco
rding to this source, the Moulton families listed above, as well as the Pa
ge family, eventually settled in Hamptom, Massachusetts, with Thomas Moult
on later moving on to York, Maine (supposedly, according to this source, T
homas is the Moulton referred to in a poem entitled "Mogg Megone" by Whitt
ier). This sources goes on to provide details regarding the marriage a
nd children of William Moulton and Margaret Page, who it provides was t
he oldest daughter of Robert and Lucy Page. In addition, it states that "
William took the freeman's oath at Salisbury Court October 3, 1654, w
as a selectman of the town of Hampton in 1649, 1653 and 1658, and died Apr
il 18, 1664." He left a will, dated March 8, 1663-64, providing for his w
ife and seven children by name, including: Joseph, Benjamin, Robert, Mar
y, Hannah, Sarah, Ruth, and mentioning his wife's pregnancy at the tim
    e. His father-in-law, Robert Page and brother-in-law, Henry Dow, were ap
    pointed executors.
