Family known from 1881 Census CD-Rom at 39 Morton Road, Islington.

According to Linda, Ernest Augustus married a "cousin". His wife Amy Mary would be his cousin, IF William Gosnell had married one of the Marsh children, a sister of Isabella Penelope Marsh - the younger one ???? Isabella P was born in Newport, Shropshire, as was Mary A Unknown, so this is a distinct possibility.

No - looking back on the IGI, William's grandfather married a Maria Marsh, which is probably the connection. Linda did say she thought it was a "distant cousin".
