William Pearson an d Mrs. Pearson, of Victoria,Australia, will take place, ver y quietly, at the Brompton parishchurch on Saturday, May 6 , at 10.30 o'clock. There will be noreception, but all frie nds will be welcome at the church.

      The marriage took place quietly on Saturday, at Brompton Pa rishChurch, of Captain Claude Stewart Jackson, Coldstream G uards, youngestson of the late Sir Thomas Jackson and Lad y Jackson, of StanstedHouse, Essex, to Miss Laura Emily Pea rson, second daughter of the Hon.William Pearson and Mrs. P earson, of Victoria, Australia.
      The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a white c lothcostume and a white hat. She was attended by Miss Hele n Pearson, hersister, who wore a gown of blue satin voile a nd a champagne picturehat trimmed with a large blue rose. B rigadier-General Sir T. D.Jackson, D.S.O., brother of the b ridegroom, was best man.
