    On John's tombstone - shield with loom, shuttle and weaver's tools; also initials I D [son John Doig] and A B [daughter-in-law Agnes Brown].

    Note: More children were probably born between 1738 and 1749. A probable brother is William Doig, brewer in Kirkinch of Nevay on file WILL1711.
