    Inherited jewellery from Miss Helen Ann Jackson, apparently some relative of Helen Neal Welsh (perhaps an aunt?) Will dated 6 November, 1878. Codicil dated 26 July, 1883.

    Inheritance from Helen Ann Jackson included:
    -1500 English pounds
    -a gold watch ornamented with garnets
    -gold chain with seals
    -keys & fastner ornamented wtih open shells
    -gold broach with locket of dark hair
    -a cameo broach
    -a diamond ring with diamonds set round a small one with snakes twining round
    -a small pearl ring
    -a corneliam necklace and earrings

    All 3 children (John Thomas, Henry Pierce, and Charlotte Anne) inherited something from Miss Jackson
    "700 British pounds with a further sum of 3800 pounds which will not be divisible during the life of a gentleman, now aged 76" ( letter dated May 5, 1886)

    H. A. Jackson was the Lessor of the town lands of Monatray, otherwise Monaterue or Moanutera, in the Parish of Kinsalebeg, Barony of Decies within Drum, Co. Waterford, Ireland.
    Other benefactors in the Codicil dated 26 July 1883 were, Charlotte Anne Hornibrook daughter of the late Helen Neale Hornibrook, 1,500 Eng. pounds.

    This is the Last Will and Testament
    Charlotte Anne Tripp of Treytherne, Torquay in the County of Devon widow. I revoke all former Wills made by me. I direct the payment of my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
    I bequeath the following legacies free of duty namely to my brother Henry Pierce Hornibrooke one hundred pounds and to each of his seven children namely his son William Thomas Hornibrooke and his daughters Helen, Amy, Charlotte, Minnie Flossie and Ivey one hundred pounds.
    And subject as aforesaid I give, demise and bequeath and appoint all my residuary estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my daughter Helen Emily Howard Tripp absolutely but if she shall predecease me leaving issue such issue shall take and of more than one equally between them the residuary estate which my said daughter would have taken had she survived me. But if my said daughter shall predecease me leaving no issue then subject as aforesaid, I bequeath all such residuary estate unto and equally between the children of my said brother Henry Pierce Hornibrook who shall survive me and I appoint my said daughter sole executrix of this my will
    As Witness my hand this eighth day of June one thousand and nine hundred and seventeen.
    Signed by the said Charlotte Anne Tripp as and forsworn last will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses
