1702 Dec. 1 James Cholmeley, of Cheshunt, Herts, Bachelor, 17, & Catherine Woodfine, of Stepney, Spinster, 17; consent of her mother Rebecca Woodfine, of Ratcliffe cum Jackmore, co. Bucks; at Greenwich, Kent.
From their Marriage Bond:
On ye first day of December 1702 appeared personally James Cholmeley of ye parish of Cheshunt in ye county of Hertford Bachelor aged 17 yeares & upwards, & alleged he intends to marry with Catherine Woodfine of ye parish of Stepney Spinster, aged 17 yeares & upward having ye consent of here mother Rebecca Woodfine, he not knowing any impediment, or lawful let by reason of any precontract, consanguinity, Affinity, or any other means, whatsoever to hinder (the) intended Marriage of ye truth of which, he made Oath & prayeth Lycense for them to be married in ye parish of Greenwich in ye county of Kent.

On ye same day appeared Jane Hereford of ye parish of Stepney, Widow, & made oath of Rebecca Woodfine of ye parish of Ratcliffe cum Jackmore in ye county of Buckingham, mother of said Catherine Woodfine, is consenting to ye abovesaid Marriage.

Note the discrepancy between the two records concerning the given name of Catherine's mother. I suspect that the name from the Marriage Bond is the accurate one.
