      Marion S. "Bud" Geary, 76, of Arona, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, in his home. He was born April 25, 1927, in Yukon, a son of the late Grover C. and Charlotte VanDyke Geary. Prior to retirement, he was employed by U.S. Steel at the Duquesne Works. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Yough Sportsmen's Club and the Twin Lakes Sportsmen's Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Adele Lassalle Geary; a son, Marion Thomas Geary; three brothers, Jesse, Edward and Robert Geary; and a sister, Sarah Trout. Surviving are two granddaughters, Jaimee and Krystal Geary, of Yukon; a brother, William Geary and his wife, Donna, of New Stanton; three sisters, Catherine Miller, of Jeannette, Charlotte Fernell and her husband, Samuel, of Ohio and Connie Wallace, of West Newton; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 136, Madison, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. L. Samuel Scheiderer officiating. Interment will follow in Madison Union Cemetery.
