Note: Arnold divorced Barbara Devilbiss, then sold all of his Frederick Co. land and settle on land near Little Pipe Creek. By 1820 Arnold was a resident of Scott Co., KY. He purchased land and remained in this county until 1831. He next moved to Ralls, Co., MO, when he died two years later. Arnold and son, Casper, were among the founders of St. Peter Church at Brush Creek in Missouri; the church was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Note: Arnold is buried at St Paul Catholic Church in Ralls County, MO. This church is known as the "Mother Church of the Catholic Faith in Northeast Missouri, Western Illinois, and Southeast Iowa." Founded in 1828 by Bishop Joseph Rosati, the parish was served by Jesuit missionaries from St Louis. The stone church building, erected in 1860, holds an honored place on the National Register of Historic Places.
