    7-3-2005: Thomas Carnes reports in his Rootsweb's Worldconnect family tree that George Shilling was in the Navy during WWII on the aircraft carrier, Saratoga. After WWII, he moved to Jacksonville, Il, his wife's hometown. He was in the meat packing business. On 1/13/1987 George suffered a severe stroke and is buried in Jacksonville, IL.
