Newspaper Wedding announcement: "HANKINS - MOREHOUSE Dale Hankins, son of
Otis Hankins, and Juanita Morehouse, daugher of Clarence Morehouse, were
married yesterday morning at the Nazarene Church.
"The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Grace Morehouse, as Maid of
Honor. Another sister, Miss Edith Morehouse, was bridesmaid.
"The groom was attended by two of his xlose friends, Ivan Campbell and Rex
"Miss Inez Hankins, sister of the groom, sang 'I Love You Truly', and Miss
Zelma Stalker played the wedding march.
"The marriage ceremony was spoken by Rev. I.V. Maxey of the Nazarene Church.
"Following the wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride's

and friends, Miss Juanita Evelyn Morehouse became the bride of Dale Lloyd
Hankins Wednesday morning at the Nazarene church. The impressive ring ceremony
was performed by Rev. I. V. Maxey beneath a white wedding bell suspended from
an arch. Preceding the ceremony Miss Inez Hankins, sister of the groom, sang "I
Love You Truly" and "Because," accompanied at the piano by Miss Zelma Stalker,
a cousin of the bride. The bride's attendants were her two sisters, the Misses
Grace and Edith Morehouse, and the groom was attended by Ivan and Rex Campbell.
The bridal party entered the church to the strains of Mendelssohn'ns Wedding
march played by Miss Stalker. The bride wore a tailored dress of blue wool
crepe with with black accessories and carried a boquet of roses and ferns. Miss
Grace Morehouse was attired in tan wool crepe with brown accessories and Miss
Edith's dress was of green wool crepe.
"The wedding was followed by a reception at the home of the bride's parents,
which was attended by thirty guests."
