Margaret PEDDY is shown in the Cass City (MI) Chronicle, Friday, June 17, 1932 as the widow of James Walters born May 3 1868 in Elmwood Township MI . James Walters was united in marriage with Miss Maggie Peddy. They lived in Elmwood until 1919 when his family moved to Imlay City and a few years later to Royal Oak. Two years ago, they went to Pentwater where they have resided since. Mr Walters died June 7 1932. Their sons were Eldon, Caro, William and Lee Walters of Detroit. Also surviving was his mother, Catherine Walters and others. He was buried in Imlay City Cemetery, Imlay, Lapeer Co, MI. {possibly buried in Hillside Cementary- Cass City MI ..theres a Walters family Plot]

Mrs. Margaret. Walters, 75, a former Cass'" Cit/ resident, passed away Sunday evening in. Harper
Hospital, Detroit, after an illness of several weeks. : Funeral services were held in the Little Funeral Home in Cass City on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Herbert W. Watkins of the Novesta Church of Christ. Interment was made in the Westlawn cemetery at Imlay City. Mrs. Walters was born Mar. 31, 1872, in Canada, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Peddie. She came to this vicinity with her parentswhen she was a child. She was united in marriage in January, 1894, to James Walters in Cass City where they made their home. Later, in the early twenties, they moved to Imlay City where Mr. Walters passed away in 1932. For several years she has been making (her home in Imlay City, Royal Oak and Saginaw. To mourn their loss are three sons, William G. Walters of Detroit, Eldon A. and Lee A. Walters of Ferndale; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Comfort of Saginaw, Mrs. Christine Filmore of Hope, Mich., and Miss Jessie Peddie of Strathroy, Ont.; three brothers, George and James Peddie of Cass City and John Peddie of Hadiey, Michigan; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One son, Wesley, preceded her in death.

Notes for CECILIA STREETER:01-07-1965 Funeral services for Mrs. Eldon Walters, 65, were held Monday in Caro and burial was in Aimercemetery. Mrs. Walters, who had undergone surgery recently, died in Florida where they were spending the winter. She was the former Celia Streeter. Relatives from Cass City who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Walters, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Helwig, Mrs. Don Finkbeiner and Miss Katherine Crane. She issurvived by - her husband, an adopted sister.
