This is the paternal side of the Lockard/Park family from Iowa. My Lockard ancestors immigrated from Ireland in the late 1700s. They lived first in Pennsylvania and migrated to Ohio in the early 1800s. They were among the early settlers of Jefferson and, later, Coshocton Counties, Ohio. In the later part of the 1800s, my branch migrated to Norton County, Kansas, and in the early 1900s, migrated to Des Moines, Iowa, where some descendents still live.
