She married Pulliam Paul Proffitt 23 Sep 1878 in Hartwell, Hart County, Georgia, son of Turner Calvin Proffitt and Mary "Polly" Wilson. He was born 22 Jan 1852 in Madison County, North Carolina, and died 3 Jun 1923 in Elberton, Elbert County, Georgia.

Annie Estelle Proffitt was born 25 Jun 1879 in Hartwell, Hart County, Georgia, and died 10 May 1964 in Lenoir, Caldwell County, North Carolina. She married Edmund F. Wakefield.
