This database contains ancestral lines of my grandfather, Girard Fowler, who married Elsie Fowler & was a great-grandson of Thomas Byba (b.1790). In 1827, the Byba family moved from Augusta Co.,VA to Mason Co..,VA (now WV). In early 1840s, two daughters marry in Livingston Co., KY, an indication of family ties to eastern KY. Two other daughters and their families lived in Missouri in mid-1800s but returned to Mason Co., WV.
