He married Leona M. Snyder 6 Jul 1918, daughter of Charles W. Snyder and Mary J.Sipe. She was born 1900, and died 1970.   8   vii. Emma Ness was born Apr 1897.   9   viii. Emma Adella Ness was born 1900, and died 1903.   10   ix. daughter Ness was born 1904, and died 1904.

2.	Edward C. Ness (Elizabeth Snyder3, John A. Snyder2, Jacob Snyder1) was born 6 May 1879, and died 18 Jan 1910. He was buried in Yoe Union Cemetery Yoe York Co Pa. He married Ella M. Akins 5 Sep 1897. She was born 10 Aug 1874, and died 1 Jun 1927. She was buried in Yoe Union Cemetery Yoe York Co Pa.
	Children of Edward C. Ness and Ella M. Akins are:   11   i. Paul E. Ness was born Sep 1898.   12   ii. Carl Ness was born Oct 1899.
