Edwards-Buckles Families that settled in Southern Indiana

Entries: 1163    Updated: 2014-07-14 10:07:02 UTC (Mon)    Contact: Terry

These families pioneered their way westward from the eastern states to Indiana after the Revolutionary War. Some traveled on horseback, some in ox carts and wagons. They carried their axes and rifles and moved into a new land - what was then known as the NW Territory. Here the families of the east built their log cabins and farms.
