Note: Ezekiel Daniel, Sr., and his family settled in the lower section of Washington County, just north of what is now the line between Johnson and Washington Counties. One tract contained 2875 acres, lying on the Big Ohoopie River. Another tract containing 200 acres adjoined the above land, and a third tract containing 200 acres also bordered the waters of the Ohoopie River. Therefore, Ezekiel, Sr., owned a total of 3,275 acres in Washington County, Georgia at the time of his death in 1822.

Issue of July 16, 1822 Nine months after date, application will be made to the Inferior Court of Washington County...for leave to sell the real estate of EZEKIEL DANIEL, deceased. (Signed) EZEKIEL DANIEL, Extor.
Will be sold on Thursday the 5th of September next, at the late residence of EZEKIEL DANIEL, deceased, of Washington County, all the personal property belonging to said estate...(Signed)!EZEKIEL DANIEL, Ex'or.
