    "Her marriage was arranged by Emperor Friedrich II King of Germany while he was in Cyprus in May 1229, en route back to Europe from Jerusalem, the bride's father being one of the Emperor's strongest supporters in Italy. She came to Cyprus with Imperial troops in 1231 but it is unlikely that she ever met her husband, who was in Palestine for most of the civil war in Cyprus. She took refuge in the castle of Kirenia with the Lombards but died before the castle's surrender to the Ibelin troops in Apr 1233"
