  • Note: The Hall Genealogy, p. 335 indicates that Ann's maiden name was Cotton, and that she was the widow of Mr. Cook at the time of her marriage to Exekiel. If this is so, then the birth date entry for Ann is incorrect. According to the Hall Genealogy, the birth of Anna Cotton was July 10, 1745, but this would make her a widow by age 20.
