Letter from Jack, Jr. to Genevieve dated 6/26/1990
"Dear Aunt Genevieve: I have the sad responsibility of telling you that your brother, my father, passed away on June 3rd. He had a massive coronary in his sleep and died at once, painlessly. Since his accident in 1986, his health had continued to deteriorate slowly. In the last two or three months he began to have, or possibly finally to admit to, symptoms of angina. He did very little about these symptoms, however and given the general state of his health I do not think much could have been done. In any event, he spent the night before his death among friends, happily by all reports. I hope this letter reaches you. The only address I could find for you was in an address book of my mother's, and in her handwriting. I an inclosing the obituary from the Joliet Herald News. Please call or write if you have any questions. Sincerely, Jack"
