    Will of Isaac H. Ijams
    ?In the name of God Amen. I Isaac H. Ijams of Perry County in the State of Ohio being feeble in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my my worldly affairs and thereby be better prepared to lead this world when it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all other and principally I cam mint my sour unto the hands of Almighty God and my body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named, and after my funeral expenses and all my just debt debts shall be paid i give and bequeath as follows. Item. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth one thousand dollars and one third of my household and kitchen furniture during her natural life and at her death whatever portion of the one thousand and furniture above named my remain in her possession It is my desire that shoo should bequeath the same to her son Ephraim Koons if a living and if not then to his heirs. I make the above bequest to my wife upon ... Item. I give and bequeath to my brothers F. R. Ijams two hundred dollars if he should be living at my death and if not then to the heirs of J. H. Ijams. Item. I give and bequeath to the heirs of my sister Sarah Jackson deceased one hundred dollars to be equally divided. Item. i give and bequeath to my nephew Isaac Turner one hundred dollar. item. I give and bequeath Isaac H. Iliff fifty dollars. Item.I give and bequeath to my niece Caroline Elizabeth Ijams daughter of J. H. Ijams four hundred dollars. Item. I give and bequeath to my nephew Wm. E. Ijams son of J. H. Ijams any riding horse bridles and saddle if living and if not then to F. R. Ijams Jr. son of J. H. Ijams. Item. I give and bequeath to Joseph Henry Harrison Ijams my nephew and son of J. H. Ijams all the balance of the proceeds of my real personal or mixed estate of which I may be possessed at my death which shall remain after paying the above specified legacies as named in this will. I do hereby appoint my brother F. R. Ijams as trustee for Elizabeth Ijams and Joseph Henry Harrison Ijams or their heirs. Whose duty it shall to receive their legacy for their benefit and he or his successors. I of hereby authorize to invest the funds at his or their own discretion to the best possible advantage for the use of said Caroline and Joseph or their legitimite heirs unit they shall arrive at lawful age to receive the same. Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint Ephraim Koons and John J. jackson to be my sole executors for this my last will and testament and ....
