Frank Hook, 45 Auto Accident Victim
Liberty, July 14 ? Frank Hook of liberty, died Saturday night in the Liberty-Loomis Hospital of injuries suffered when he was struck by an automobile near Lock Sheldrake last Wednesday. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Ramsay Funeral Home, Liberty. The Rev. H. B. Krusa will officiate. Military services will be held graveside at the Liberty Cemetery. Arrested and charged with reckless driving in the case was Lawrence Cashins of 7 Young St., Monticello. The victim, aged 45, was trimming trees off Route 52 when the accident occurred. He was employed by the Foley Construction Co. of Binghamton. Injuries sustained included a cerebral concussion, multiple fractures of the ribs, scalp wounds and shock. The accident occurred last Wednesday. A member of the American Legion and VFW posts of Liberty. Mr. Hook was the son of Samuel and Lena Kortright Hook. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Marie Knight, a son, Frank Robert, both of Liberty; parents of Olive Bridge, N.Y.; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Worden of Liberty.
