Philander's will (Book C Pages 464-465, City of Austin Texas, County of Travis.
Philander Priestley:
First executor and executrix pay all my debts that may come into their hands.
Pay all funeral expenses.
It is my will and desire that all my effects, property and interest of every
description be divided between my children and my wife Share and Share alike.
Subject to the following exception. It is my will and desire that my daughter
Catherine N. Peterson (for reason satisfactory to my own mind) take no interest
whatsoever in my estate or effects. And I hereby appoint my Wife Louisa W.
Priestley and my son Perrie Priestley executors of my last will and testament.
Ask that they serve without Bond and be permitted to settle affairs of my
estate without intervention in Probate Court. Dated 21 day of June 1865.

Estate of Philander Priestley
Louisa W. and Periander Priestley praying that the will of Philander Priestley
be admitted to Probate. That they be appointed Admr and Admx. Legal notice
had been given of said application and in one appearing to contest same, and
Mr. T. D. Moseley one of the subscribing witnesses of Said will having appeared
in open court and proven same in accordance with the law ... Will is
established as the last will and testament of Philander Priestley. Asked that
it be recorded in the minutes of this Court. Louisa W. and Periander Priestley
were appointed executpr and executrix of said will.
