This data base is the beginning of an effort to create a family-linked cross index to the early records of Boone Co., MO. The 1880 census is not completely entered. I have updated it on a random rather than systematic basis, and still welcome additions and corrections from descendants of the individual families. Please ignore the importation information in brackets at the beginning of some "Notes" sections which are the product of computer difficulties. I'm trying to clean it up as I go.

    6. Title: Marriage Records of Boone County, Missouri 1821-1870
Author: Evans, Mrs. E.E. and Mrs. J. Frank Thompson, comps.
Publication: Columbia, MO: Privately Printed, 1933.
Note: Mrs. Evans was Rella (Bright) Evans. Both Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Thompson identified themselves as "Genealogist." This book does NOT include the revalidations of slave marriages done from the end of the Civil War through 1870: the index does not include that marriage book. It appears to have been done from the second copy of Book A, not from the original.
The NSDAR copy is missing page 6. However, as far as I can tell, no marriages are missing from the listing: this was apparently an error in the pagination.

The book does not go through the year 1870 as the title would imply. Rather, it ends rather irregularly in 1869.
Note: Not quite up to their books on wills and tombstones.
