Author: Pazda, Lisa Publication: E-mails received from Lisa Pazda over a period of time Page: Harvey -Docket #1263-A Note: In the name of God amen, I Harvey Mclaughlin of Claremont in the county of Sullivan and state of New Hampshire, being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory, blessed be the almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say,First-I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Ruth Mclaughlin all my household furniture to have and to hold the same to her sale use and benefit forever-I also give [devise] and bequeath unto my said wife Ruth Mclaughlin all my real estate situated in said Claremont, bounded south by land of John Mclaughlin and the highway west by land of Joseph [Sweette]-north by land of the heirs of Elijah Chase deceased and Abiel White and east by land of Sidney Mitchell, or how otherwise bounded containing about fifty-five acres with the buildings thereout, together with all my stock of cattle, horses,sheep, and swine, and farming utensils of every description to have and to hold the same to her the said Ruth Mclaughlin to her use and benefit so long as she shall remain my widow and no longer.Secondly-I give and bequeath unto my sons, David Mclaughlin, Allen Mclaughlin , and Francis Mclaughlin twenty-five dollars each-to be paid to each of them respectively by my executor hereinafter named within six months from and after the decease of my said wife-Thirdly-I give, devise and bequeath unto my son John Mclaughlin all my real estate [already] described and also all my personal estate of every description, (except my household furniture), subject hereunto the above devise and bequest of the same to my said wife, and the payment of the above named legacies, and also all my just debts and the funeral charges of my self and my said wife. To have and to hold the same to him the said John Mclaughlin, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever.And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said son John Mclaughlin[sale]executor of this my last will and testament,hereby revoking all former wills by me made.In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of March A.D. 1848~Signed,sealed,published and declared by the above named Harvey Mclaughlin as and for last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witness thereto.
