Note: Cheshire County Registry of Deeds 33 West Street, Keene NH Joshua Hones to David Mclaughlin Bk 67 Vol 2 pg 498Know all men by these presents that I Joshua Jones of New Boston in the County of Hillsborough and state of New Hampshire yeoman for and in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred dollars to me in hand before the delivery hereof well & truly paid by David Mclaughlin of the same New Boston County and state aforesaid yeoman the receipt whereof I do hereby achknowledge have given granted bargained sold and by these presents do give grant bargain sell [alien] [enseoff] convey and confirm unto the said David Mclaughlin his heirs and assigns forever. A certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Claremont containing eighty-six acres bounded as follows viz.Beginning at the Northwest corner of siad land and runing easterly on James Aikens land and Francis Chases land thence runing southerly on Elisha Sheldon and Rufus [Waistents] land so far as to take the eighty-six acres thence westerly til it comes(crossed out) strikes Aldens land and from thence northerly on a straight line to where it began and also another piece or parcel of land lying and being in Claremont aforesaid being one half of the hundred acre lot that Jeremiah Westcoat purchased of the widow Eunice Ashley beginning at the south west corner of said lot thence runing eastwardly on the south line of said lot to the southeast corner ofsaid lot thence runing northwesterly on the east line of said lot to the southeast corner of said lot thence northwardly on the west line of said lot far enough to take one half of said lot and no more-bounded west on land formerly owned by Nathaniel Shattuck-south of Summers land east on the said widow Ashleys land-To have and to hold the siad granted premises with all the privilages and appurtenences to the same beloning to him the said David Mclaughlin his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use and benefit forever and I the said Joshua Jones for myself my heirs executors and administrators do hereby covenent grant and agree to and withthe said David Mclaughlin his heirs and assigns that until the delivery hereoff I am the lawful owner of the said premises and am served? and possessed thereof in my own right in fee simple and hence full power and lawful authority to grant and convey the same in manner aforesaid the premises are free and clear of all and evry incumbrence whatsoever and that I myself my heirs executors and administrators shall & will warrant the same to him the siad David Mclaughlin his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all person whomsoever-In witness whereof I havehereunto set my hand and seal this elevnth day of March in the year of our Lord 1805.signed sealed and delivered in presence of us James Ray,Hitty More, Joshua Jones(His seal).Hillsborough ss Mar 13 1805.Personally appeared Joshua Jones the signer of this instrument and acknowledged the same to be his free act and deed before James Ray, J.
