    Found on 1880 census, page two, Rockville twp., Kankakee Co, line 22. Listed with wife Sarah, son Eugene, nine yrs. born in Indiana, Helen, age 7, and Bertha age two. Both girls were born in Illinois. George's occupation was listed as a farmer, but was listed as unemployed for the past five months,
    with the cause being penned in and then rubbed out. Census was done twenty-first of June, 1880. In this same census, a boarder was listed, name Brayton Farmer, age 43, born in New York. Brayton it was noted was also unemployed, (occupation, labourer) for the past eight months. Lame is listed as reason.
