    Kent Co., DE Deed Records G Vol. 2 fol. 151 & 152dated 15 August 1801 recorded 9 January 1802John Colescot, of Kent Co., Yeoman, and Sarah, his wife, to John Booth, Gent, of the same place, for $613..."Whereas a certain Henry Swiggit, late of Caroline County, Maryland, deceased...became seized in fee simple of a body of land situate in the forest of Mispillion Hundred...the greater part of which said land was originally granted from the proprietaries of Maryland by patent and the residue was added by virtue of a warrant of resurvey granted fro m the proprietaries of Pennsylvania in the year...1776 and was surveyed for the said Henry Swiggitt as assignee of James Rawley, the former proprietary. Said land in the year 1794 by Edward Callahan, Deputy Surveyor of Kent County...who reduced the whole into ???? survey. And the said Henr y Swiggitt...in his last will and testament devised to his daughter, the said Sarah Colescot, wife of the said John Colescot, a certain part of the said land...which was aft erward laid off unto the said John Colescot pursuant to an amiable agreement between himself and the other heirs."(Said tract) adj. the land owned by William Taylor, formerly the property of Francis Jester, and Tomahawk Branch..."to a post at the end of a division line between the said John Colescot and his brother Ralph Colescot"...containing 136 acres.
