Mrs. Annie Poole, daughter of Dr. William F. Poole, first librarian and one of the founders of the Chicago Public Library, died yesterday at the North Shore Health Resort in Winnetka. She was 74 years old, and the widow of C. Clarence Poole, patent attorney. Her maiden and marriage name were the same. Mrs. Poole is survived by two sons, Charles H., of Glencoe, and Clarence F. of Evanston, and a daughter, Miss Dorothy Poole of Evanston."
