  • Note: James does not appear on the 1870 or later censuses. According to my grandmother Pearl Rose Deplanta, James lives longer than Cynthia. There is an interesting note in one of the affidavits of Sarah Ann Perry's pension file. She states on 14 May 1883 that the last time any one on the family heard from James L. Perry (the middle initial seems to be either L. or C.) was 1872. 1
