[Sharon] found Coleman Meriwether in the 1910 census living in Independence County, Barren Twp., Arkansas living with his grandfather. He would seem to be an orphan. Who were his parents?

My guess is that Coleman Meriwether was the son of Clarence L. Meriwether and Annie Robertson, daughter of James A. Robertson. (She is single, age 18, in the 1900 census, Big Bottom, Independence Co., Arkansas.) Clarence is the son of George Washington Meriwether and Ella Vaughn. He is also found in the 1900 census as single, age 24. NHM says that Clearence was married twice, no issue. Could he actually have had a son with his first wife?

1. Was Clarence married to Annie Robertson? Can anyone find a marriage record in Independence Co., Arkansas about 1900?

2. Was Coleman their son? He was born about 1900. Does anyone have access to birth & death records in Arkansas?
