      Text: Ernst F. BuendingFort Atkinson -- Ernst F. Buending, 74, operator of a sheet metal business in Fort Atkinson for many years, died at 11:35 a.m. Saturday in his home, 212 Bluff street, as a result o f a stroke suffered two weeks ago.Mr. Buending was born in Watertown Dec. 18, 1877, the son of Ernst and Ottilie Buending, and was married in Fort Atkinson Oct. 22, 1902, to Anna Hackbarth. He live d in Watertown until coming to this city 53 years ago. For a number of years he operated his shop in a business district but in recent years had maintained the business at his home. One of the activ ities for which he was well known was the construction of cages for mink farms and exhibits. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.Surviving are his wife; two sons, Norman, of Chicago, and Cl arence, of Hastings, Minn.; one daughter, Mildred, Beecher, Ill.; four grandchildren; one brother, Fred, of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Della Terwedow, and Mrs. Selma Ottow, both of Watertown, an d Mrs. Meta Krebs, Milwaukee.The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Nitardy funeral home and at 2 o'clock in St. Paul's Lutheran church, the Rev. Henry Gieschen officiating. Burial will be i n Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening.
