Kaukauna, Wis., Aug. 30. — Fred Schubring, agred seventy years and a resident of Kaukaun a the last twenty- eight years, was buried Sunday afternoon from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church. His death occurred Friday after a long illness from chronic ailments. He was a well known millwrig ht of this section, having followed the occupation all his life. He was born in Liebgurst, Germany, August 4, 1839. and came to America in 1867, settling at Milwaukee, where in 1869 he married Miss Ca roline Bauman, who with ten children survive. They are: Mrs. Elizabeth Glaff and Mrs. Emma Hein, Kaukauna; Mrs. Rosa Mansfield, Bear Creek; Fred Jr., Little Falls, Minn.; Reinhold, Milwaukee; Emil, Ot to, Bertha, Anna and Ella at home.

Title: Newspaper Page: Kaukauna Sun Date: 2 Sep 1909 Text: Funeral of Fred SchubringThe funeral of Fred Schubring, who died Friday night, was held Sunday afternoon from Trinity Evangelical church, with his pastor Rev. W. Hinnenthal, officiating. The funera l was a large one being attended by many from outside the city.Mr. Schubring was 70 years of age having been born in Liebguerst, Germany, Aug. 4, 1839. In 1867 he came to America locating in Milwauke e and in 1869 he wsa married to Miss Caroline Bauman. In 1881 they left Milwaukee and came to Kaukauna. Mr. Schubring was a carpenter and millwright which occupation he followed all his life. Ten c hildren were born to Mr. and Mrs. Schubring and they were present at the funeral. The are Mrs. Rose Mansfield, Bear Creek; Rheinold, Milwaukee; Fred Jr., Little Falls, Minn.; Mrs. Elizabeth Glaff an d Mrs. Emma Hein, Kaukauna; Otto, Emil, Ella, Bertha and Amanda at home.
