Ransford died in Windsor, Berkshire County, Massachusetts on 30 July 1795: "1795 July 30 Ransford Miner [died], aged about fifty years" (Records of the First Church of Christ, Windsor Since 25 March 1773 [Rollin H. Cook, typescript; Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield, Massachusetts], 209 citing 112) and (New England Historic Genealogical Society, Vital Records of Windsor, Massachusetts to the Year 1850 [Boston: 1917], 139, citing C.R. [church record, Congregational Church])
