OBITUARY: Iran the race and fought the good fight but now I'm at peace with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We mourn the passing of RAYMOND STIDHAM, on August 7, 2004. After serving in the U. S. Army, Ray was the Housing Director for the University of Houston for many years and was a member of The First United Methodist Church and Logo Sunday School class. He was also a member of Elks Club 151. Ray was known as a very kind and generous man who loved to "whistle" and "dance". He is survived by his long time soul mate Louise Young, brother Jess and wife Shirley of California, brother James Howard and wife Carol of Florida and a niece, Rhonda Hammond and husband, Keith of Houston. The family would like to thank his caring nurse Margaret Garner, LVN, for the kindness and compassion given to Ray. A celebration of Ray's life will be held at the Clarewood House Chapel, 7400 Clarewood, Houston on Friday, August 20 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Thompson, First United Methodist Church officiating. Memorials may be made to The Brookwood Community of Brookshire, Tx. or The First United Methodist Church, Houston.
