    MILITARY: US Army, Workd War II, Corporal. Served in the US Army from 1942 to 1945 during World War II. He served in England, Scotland, and Wales. He participated in the invasion of Omaha Beach, France, followed by service in Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, and across Germany until the end of the war.

    OCCUPATION: After WWII, her returned to Hebron, Ohio, bought his home, and went to work for Ownes Corning Fiberglass in Newark, Ohio. He worked for Owens for 28 years, and retired in 1980.
