    OBITUARY: G.C. Stidham, Jr., age 70, passed away on November 11th, 2008 at his residence. He was the son of the late G. C. and Cannie Stidham, Sr. He taught at Clintwood Elementary School until his retirement and he attended the Clintwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Jack Spoone and Lewis Allen Hill. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Mullins Stidham and one sister, Carol Spoone of Corbin, Kentucky. Survivors include two nephews, Lester Hill (Linda) of Clintwood, Virginia and J. J. Spoone of Corbin, Kentucky and two nieces, Katherine Trent, New Bern, North Carolina and Teresa Perry (Mike) of Clintwood, Virginia. (fron FindaGrave.com)
