Also lived in California (1944), Hornersville, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; Kennet, Missouri; Hugo, Oklahoma; Valliant, Oklahoma (1934). Settled in Arkansas in 1949 and stayed. - ref. Mrs. Edward Cleveland (Minnie) [2581] Stidham of Oceola, Arkansas, letter to OEJS dated 10 Jul 1978, wherein she wrote: "[Edd'e dad] and Edd were the same chip off of the same old block. Whatever they wanted to do they done it. One day Edd come to the house. We were picking cotton. He said to me get ready pack everything you will need the worst. We are going to Oklahoma 3 hundred miles away. Se we went out to Valliant, Oklahoma. We were back in Arkansas in a years time. That was October. I came back the coming September 1935. We went out there in 1934. Boy we really went. We went to California in June 1944. Came back 3 times. In 1948 we came to Oklahoma. Came back to Arkansas January 4th 1949. Been in Arkansas ever since. Rolling stone gather no moss, so we have no moss."
