    OBITUARY: James Ray Stidham, 68, of Norton, passed away Tuesday (July 26, 2005) at the Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Norton. He was an employee of Fluor Daniels of Kingsport, Tenn. for 31 years and attended The Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Wise. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Maggie Reed Stidham; his wife, Mollie Dye Stidham; a brother, Bill Stidham and four sisters, Gladys Stidham, Evelyn Stidham, Pauline Bell and Nancy Stidham. Surviving are two sons, Chris Stidham and wife Penny of Norton and Andy Stidham and wife Rhonda of Blountville, Tenn.; two daughters, Kelly Kiser and husband Jeff of Norton and Penni Kyte and husband Jeff of Elizabethton, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Michelle Buckley, Jenna Buckley, Chelsey Buckley, Matthew Kiser, Christopher Kiser, Brittini Thacker, Haley Thacker, Abby Kyte, Nicole Stidham and Jessica Stidham; one brother, Hubert Stidham of Norton; five sisters, Loretta Herron of Norton, Ella Kern of Norfolk, Brenda Absher of Norton, Sherry Bolling of Tennessee and Sheila Wells of Wise. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, with Revs. Roger Barker and John Ellington officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery Norton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise.
