    OBITUARY: Smith, Chester Arthur Smith, 48, of Gays Creek, Kentucky., died December 22, 2008 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Survived by wife; Geraldine Stidham Smith of Gays Creek, Kentucky., 5 sons; Lawrence Smith of the US Army, Lonnie Smith, David Smith and Leon Smith all of Gays Creek, Kentucky., and Chester Smith of Busy, Kentucky., 1 daughter; Barbara White of Gays Creek, Kentucky, 1 brother; Barney Lee Smith of Indiana, 2 sisters; Dorothy Simpson and Anna Cooper both of Indiana, five grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, December 26, at 11 a.m. at Buckhorn Church of God. J. L. McIntosh, Estill Sizemore and Minor Feltner officiating. Stidham Cemetery at Busy, Kentucky., place of burial. Engle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. ( Hazard Herald, Hazard, Kentucky, 2 Jan 1992)
