Elisha Shaw was elected tithingman in 1752. The marriage record & the baptism of some of his children at South Precinct call him Elisha Shaw, but the births of three children in the town records (p.800 in printed records) erroneously call him John Shaw.
He probably removed from town (Weymouth) about 1745.
