"Friday Jan. 15, 1892 Died - Susan Mullins, On December 31, 1891, Mrs Susan Mullins died at the age of eighty. She was born in Virginia in 1811, and came to Missouri in 1829, when she met Hiram Mullins, and was married to him in 1830. They came from Missouri to Kansas in 1855, and settled in Miami county where they have resided every since except two years absence in Oregon. It will be remembered that the Graphic on January 1, had an obituary notice of the death of Hiram Mullins, who died on Monday of the same week and Susan Millins, his wife, the subject of this sketch, survived him only three days. They were buried side by side in Osawatomie cemetery. They were a very worthy old couple, and leave to mourn their death four sons, N. T. Mullins, of Guthrie, Jas. Mullins, John Mullins and Robt. Mullins of this vicinty and two daughters, one the wife of S. C. Woollard of Louisburg, the other Mrs. John Billings, who lives south of town"
