Obituary:
AZLE - Emilie Sylvia Burell, a homemaker, died Saturday at a North Richland Hills hospital. She was 79. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Burell was born in Arp and lived in Azle about 20 years. She was a member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Lords Acre Fund at Silver Creek United Methodist Church, Route 5, Box 218, Azle 76020. Survivors: Three daughters, Jacquelyn Moore of Fort Worth, Jan Larson of San Antonio and Sylvia Johnson of Azle; three brothers, Glynn Sloan of Fort Worth, Lloyd Sloan of California and Harold Sloan of Channelview; sister, Bea Chambers of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
