IRE and lived in Deleware Co., NY, served in the Revolution and received Bounty Land in Dryden, Tompkins Co,. NY. Anyway, my main interest is in Isabel/Isabella Sloan, likely a granddaughter of Hugh who married into one of my lines. She was b. 1809 in Deleware Co., and d. 1888 (prob. Illinois). She m. Henry Carpenter from Dryden, NY. Hugh had two sons, James and John. One stayed in Delaware Co., and the other settled on the Dryden Bounty Lands of his father. One of the sons was likely Isabel's father, but I want to be sure. Any ideas would be helpful. I can give you Hugh's family if you are interested."

He served at least 3 years. After the war he was given 600 acres in the Miliary Tract in lot 80 in Dryden NY (Tomkins County) and moved to the area. It is not clear he ever lived on his property."
