    5) 2 pp. detailed account of his service. This is a heart rending account of an old, infirm soldier, whose wife is ill. He has not seen the children of his first wife for over twenty years. He is unable to cope. The list of his meager assets include one old tin kettle, four old dishes, a few bowls, ten earthenware plates, one sugar bowl, two old earthenware teapots, a one quart mug, one small earthenware platter, two pails, and one pig.
