From Chapter "Caveat Book - 2" page 286 {see Caveat.jpg} Land Office 20 March 1764 Archibald Sloan enters a Caveat against the acceptance of a Survey made for Samuel Sloan, on a Tract of Land Situate in Hanover Township, Lancaster County, the said Land settled & improved by Archibald Sloan, Father of the said Samuel who is since Deceased Intestate leaving other Children besides the said Samuel. William Peters, Sec'ry. ****** Supposedly, his son John arrived in America abt 1718 from Co. Antrim, Ireland. *****
