  • Note:
    Robert was Baptized in March 1840 by letter at New Hope Baptist Church, Wake Co., where he later served as a Deacon. In March 1856, the Church granted Brother Traywick privilege of exercising his gift of prayer and exhortation. He was a Merchant and Farmer. Robert was living in the household of Larkin Pearce in the 1880 Census as retired Merchant. A Dec. date of 25 April 1881 was found in a Biblical recorder.

    Servants: Anthony-May 1864, March 1867. Arnold-May1864. Charity-May 1864, dismissed in July 1868 for fornication and adultery. Monroe-May 1864, January 1865 (stealing). Squire-May 1864, deceased.
