Note: Obituary: PORT BYRON: Mrs. Diana M. Ramper, 64, of Port Byron died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Ramper was born in Port Byron, the daughter of Willard and Agnes Haron Machiea. She had worked as a nurse-aid for Home Health Care in Auburn and helped care for her many grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Scott Szakaly and his wife, Jennifer of Auburn, Richard Wertman of Cayuga and William Wertman of Auburn; two daughters, Donna O'Hara and her husband Brian of Union Sjprings and Deborah Hendrick and her husband Tony of Timberlake, NC; eleven grandchildren, Christina Powers of Timberlake, NC, Julie Wertman of Rochester, Jann O'Hara of Union Springs, Zachary Wertman of Cayuga, Samantha Bond of Auburn, B. J. O'Hara of Union Springs, Charles S. Bond of Auburn, Joshua Hendrick of Timberlake, NC, Shawn Szakaly of Auburn, Kasey Wertman of Seneca Falls and Summer Szakaly of Auburn. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Ramper on June 12, 2002 and a son Ronald Wertman i 1968. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA Humane Society, York Street, Auburn, NY 13021 in memory of Mrs. Ramper.
