    Jacob Joiner to Samuel Long Bottoms
    Deed Book 6 Page 555 Dated March 6, 1799

    This Indenture made this the sixth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine Between Jacob Joiner of Nash County and State of North Carolina of the one part and Samuel LongBottoms of the county and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Jacob Joiner for the consideration of the sum of thirty pounds current money of United States to him in hand paid by the aforesaid Samuel Longbottoms the rect whereof is hereby achknowledged to be paid hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain & sell unto the said Samuel L Bottoms his heirs and assigns a certain track or parcel of Land lying in the county and state afforesaid
    On the North side of Sapponey Creek Begining at a pine in Jacob Joiners line thence runing along the said Joiners line East one hundred and four pole to a black oak in Samuel L. Bottoms line thence along Bottoms line north one hundred and thirteen poles to a white oak in Hollands Branch thence west one hundred & four poles to black oak in Jacob Joiners line thence his line South to the begining, containing seventy three acres, be the same more or less with the premises thereon or thereupon with all the appertainances pertaining thereto the sd Samuel Long Bottoms his heirs and assigns or any part or parcel thereof & the Reversion reversions remainder or remainders rents and services of all & singular the said premises and also all rights titles interest property claims and demands of him the said Jacob Joiner to his heirs Exrs or Admrs of in & to the same & the sd Jacob Joiner he will covenant & agree to & with the said Samuel L. Bottoms his heirs and assigns by these presents that the said Samuel L. Bottom his heirs & assigns shall and may from hence forth forever here after peacibly and Quietly have hold occupy and enjoy the said seventy three acres of land and premises above mentioned and suffice keep safe & harmless the said Samuel L. Bottoms from all troubles charges and incumbrances whatsoever by him the said Jacob Joiner his heirs Exrs Admrs or any other person or persons whomsoever. In witness whereof the said Jacob Joiner hath set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written

    NC Deed Book 6 Page 545 Samuel L. Bottoms of Nash Co. to John Long Bottoms of same, Feb. 13, 1801, for 30 pds. a tract of 73 acres on the south side of Sapony Creek and on Holland's Branch adjoining Jacob Joiner. Wit: Wn. Hall  ( I don't have this one)
