Beginning at a water oak stump on the river running Hatcher line No 3 degree east 224 poles corse continued to a red oak in Bakers line thence his line to a poplar in the rooty branch Thence up said said branch to a pine thence East to a corner pine
Thence a line of marked trees to a corner post oak thence a straight course to a black gum in Jacob's Swamp. Thence down said swamp to Tar River Thence up said river to the first station

Edward Taylor and wife Dinah Taylor of Nash County to their son, German Mann and wife Arcada Mann of same. Whereas Arcada Mann, late orphan of William Poland, deceased of Nash Co. was then entitled to draw as heir of said deceased a proportionate part of his land 218 acres according to survey, and the dower of land of the widow which included the land of said Arcada Mann being subject to said Dinah Taylor during her natural life, they gave to said Mann and wife full title to said land, reserving a one-third part of the produce to a certain orchard.

Deed or Bill of Sale from Edward Taylor and Dinah Taylor to German Mann was duly proven in open Court by the oath of Jesse Battle, Esqr. a Subscribing witness thereto & on motion it was Ordered to be recorded.

Petition of Dinah Taylor for a year?s provisions. She was the widow of Edward Taylor, decd. Nov Term 1844

Petition for the divisiion of the land of Dinah Taylor, decd. The seven shares were divided as follows: (1) between Rolen Poland, Tina Poland, David Bone in right of his wife, Dinah, and Wesley Poland (2) between Wyatt Poland, Rebecca Polland, and Patsey Poland; (3) James Bartholomew in right of his wife, Nancy; (4) between Ada Mann, Henry Mann, John Mann, Alexander Ricks, Rody Ricks and Arcada Ricks; (5) William B. Poland; (6) Dinah Taylor (7) Samuel Fuller in right of his wife, Sally, No date.

Petition for account and settlement of estate made by A. B. Baines, admr. of Dinah Taylor, who died intestate in 1853. She first married William Poland, who died ?many years since?, leaving the following children: (1) Henry Poland, who died, leaving Roland Poland, Tina Poland and Wesley Poland, who were non residents of the state, and Dinah, wife of David Bone, who were all entitled to a one-seventh share: (2) John Poland, decd., whose children were Wyatt Poland, Rebecca Poland, and Patsy Poland, who were non-residents and entitled to a one-seventh share; (3) Nancy, wife of James Bartholomew, a non-resident, entitled to a one-seventh share; (4) Arcada, who was deceased, who first married German Mann and had the following children; Ada Mann, John Mann and Henry Mann, who were non residents, and who later married a second husband, Thomas Ricks, and left by him Alexander Ricks, Rody Ricks, and Arcada Ricks, all being the children of Arcada Poland and entitled to a one-seventh share; (5) William B. Poland, a non-resident, entitled to a one-seventh share; (6) and (7) said Dinah Taylor married a second husband, who was deceased and they left two children Diana Taylor and Sally, wife of Samuel Fuller, each entitled to a one-seventh share. No date.
